Accessorizing

A poet takes their bones and bowels, and
wears them like a string of cultured pearls.

A very fashionable accessory
that goes with whatever they write.

too true
amulet or accessory
if i've seen it/felt it/loved
i'll "wear" it
love the way you've expressed it

Floots says it the way I feel it. Very nicely put, Pat.

Good one Pat...liked the way this was written. Only a poet could get away with it with such finesse :)

Eric, always glad to see you. Thanks!!

Thank you MB!!

Thanks Gautami!!

Thanks Nea!!

Thank you Katie!!

Rethabile, I was thinking about Maya Angelou and how she spills out her whole being in everything she writes. An amateur's poor tribute. Thanks!!

But you can Vaughn, you can!!

Janice I don't know about finesse, just another way of saying "guts". Thanks!!

Thanks Polona!!

Vivian, you wear them well in everything you write!!
