Even Though

i woke up this morning
with my bones melting
pooling in the soles of my feet

i squished
when i walked to the bathroom
sloshed when i stopped

yeah though i walk
through the valley
of the shadow …

I still fear!
leaving puddle-prints
of skeletal slush

Hi Pat,
This has a bone chilling yet humorous effect both at the same time. Not an easy feat!

Pat, dear--

Kudos to you for facing down the negative feelings and getting straight through them!

(With a little help from your friends here, of course)...this poem was worth waiting for!
