From Fog To Fog

The fog on the lake New Years Eve
was smooth and silky, seductive and mysterious.
The fog in my head New Years day
was neither seductive, nor mysterious:
it had the fury of a woman scorned,
the fiery quills of a porcupine cornered.
Thankfully, though, the memories
will fade into myths and legends, since
the batteries in the video camera were dead.

That sounds like 'some' party!
Take it easy and try to remember all that you couldn't get on tape. :)

Here's to the beginning, again.

Sounds like you had fun creating those myths and legends!
(And now you are free to embellish them as you wish)
May the coming year be full of good surprises...

Well here's to an obviously clear headed New Years 2nd, as your great writing skills predictably imply. And I'm glad you're back around to share your foggy tale so clearly.

Thank you.

I think it safe to venture the assumption that good batteries might have provided some insult to go along with the injury sustained! Happy New Year Pat!
