Fatal Crash

I was recently in a head-on collision
with a Mac-Attack.
The sesame seed metallic hood
crumpled under the force
of my pearly white grill.

The double beef passengers
left this world
through the tunnel of appetite satisfaction.

A memorial service
was held in a chapel of grease;
their names recorded
in the book of my blood.

Deeply touching, Pat

The first of such poetry I read here...I feel sad, reading the last stanza..Shucks! I feel bad myself!

Hope to see some cheering verse soon...

wishes,
devika

Oh, I swear, Pat--I was in shock thinking you were in a fatal SUV crash, slowly it dawned on me...

probably at the word "appetite"--

anyway, not to mourn--they were long dead before your encounter!
(You are TOO clever!)

What an eloquent way to end the life of a greasy BMac! ~ may it rest happily in pieces hahah ...Go whole wheat & lessen the visits to the golden arches, Mr Paulk, it will do you a world of good! :D I'm a fan of your writing, sir... would you mind if I included you in my blogroll? If you're cool with a link exchange, let me know :) Cheers!

Since my computer crashed and I now have a MAC instead of a pc, I almost forgot about the "big mac" hamburger until I kept reading.
Wonderful and now I'm hungry!
