Wait Staff

My blog is down!
I can’t nourish my inspiration
with the proteinaceous comments
that my muse has become addicted to.
She’s starting to eat
the lining of my stomach,
threatening to take out bowel
if word offerings aren’t delivered soon.
I told her they said
it was a server problem,
she munched back, “hire a new waiter!”

What a mean, vicious muse you have. Sure hope you're not the victim of muse-to-poet abuse. I hear 60 Minutes is planning an exposé on the topic.

Amusing. A ritual-oriented muse. My advice: Just stick to the ritual, of course, if you can...

Ouch! Eat yogurt for the stomach pain and type endlessly as if there is no tomorrow!

Talk out loud so that your muse can hear you and click "enter" every 30 minutes and say, "There, another one posted."

That should keep her confused until you come up with something else.

Good luck friend!

i agree with queen neetee
yoghurt = culture
= blog
but there is no blog
therefore no desserts

(glad you're up and running again) :)

*Grin* Yes, I can relate. When my internet connection fails, I get stir-crazy. I think this is called an "addiction." We can all eat yogurt together and gripe.
