Trading Up

I want to live
in my neighbor’s house,
eat his food,
kick his cat,
watch his grass grow,
drive his clunker of a car,
sleep with his wife,
listen to his kids
say I don’t know,
covet his neighbor’s life,
go back home
and start all over again.

Pat, your mind is constantly spinning these brilliant little scenarios...daily. I want to be in your head for a day; forget about my neighbors!

Deep, clever and witty.
Eternal wandering and eternal return.

like floots said - this one left me thinking about MC Escher's drawings where a basic twist is introduced to create an endless loop. Very well done!

If I were your neighbor I'd be putting up the "for sale" sign right about now. Hauntingly perverse read, Pat. Thrilling, strange and with an underbelly of the macabre.

Hello Groundhog Day. And Tomorrow? Oh Pat, where does it end?

Thank you Aurora!! hope you enjoyed your audio!

Kai, thank you very much!!

Floots, marriage gives me the shivers!!!!

Thanks inkblot for stopping by!!

Andrew maybe you need new neighbors or, broaden your vision of your neighborhood!!

Boulies, you're welcome any time! Might be crowded though, been told I have 42 identifiable personalities. I lost count.

Natalia, thank you. Maybe the eternal prodigal...

Steve, doesn't sound too bad to me. But, like Andrew said I'm getting weirder everyday!

Nick, I never thought about it, but maybe that's why he patrols with a shotgun. I thought it was for shooting rascally rabbits!!

Russell, I just don't know. Maybe when I wake up with Andie MacDowell in my bed!!!
