Monday morning,
shower heads weep,
hair dryers howl,
deodorants stifle,
zippers clench teeth,
lip glosses smack,
perfumes choke,
ties hang,
front doors bang,
cars growl,
economic forecast, good.

Brought a very much needed smile since it's Monday morning.
Very good!
I am not going to bang the front
door though... my cat would not
like it!
I take it you are feeling a bit piled up in American consumerism. I'm kind of out of the loop. You made me feel greatful!
PS my word verificatrion was enertno. Somehow that just seemed appropriate.
Great word economy! Why not, I envy you.:)

Oh I like!! I also very much like the one below, but you have 31 replies already, so I'll say it here.
The economic forcast as a moment in a series of events, unsincere, much less so than say, drying the hair or shutting a door, and much harder to quantify, indeed.
sums up monday mornings well.
love the poem!
Well put - and such an economy of words. I like it!
Sums up my weekday whirlwind chaos totally!
Lovely poem. And thanks for the heartening words at the end.
Have also read your last few poems. I will surely be visiting again.
