Don’t Tell The Well

I confided my darkest secrets
to the crumbling brick hole
of an abandoned well. Certainly
seemed a safe place to lay to rest
the remains of rotting thoughts.
I never expected my every word
to be repeated over, over, over...

Dark thoughts, Pat I didn't know you had any. The ending seems to make the poem itself echo.

great images of thoughts that do not want to die... or be drowned in wells.

Darn it, Pat, why'd go and do such a thing? Didn't you know that wells..., well, that wells make great poems?

That's what happens when your well doesn't run dry. And yours doesn't.

Nothing seems to be really lost in this universal well!:)
