My reflection wobbles
up and down
the dark sides of the cup I’m holding;
features fade in and out,
as I sip the bitterness of coffee.
The question that comes to mind is,
am I coming into focus,
or slowly disappearing?

OMG, I had written something similar. How some feelings are eternal...

ah yes, on the upward climb or on the decent, that is how I read this......and where is that middle ground. If I am living it and it is all downhill from here, I wish I could take off the skates......

honestly as i read this, it's all i could think of was my depression...the comings and goings, the ups and downs, the bitter taste, the need for a taste of sweet honey, sticky sweet honey to hold me together...maybe i should just write my own poem..

Enjoyed... every man's (& woman's) quandary (although for some it would be over a cup of tea).

Yes, but the reflection looks different in tea. Thanks Vaughn!!

MB, it all depends on one's perspective, doesn't it??

Joyce, seem so on a cold Sunday morning.

Sage, thanks!!

Mandy, I can always hope!!

Borut, as long as there's coffee in the cup there's hope.

Janedoughnut, are you sure??

Gulnaz, that is the point isn't it??
