Off The Wall

A shadow on the wall
talked to a curious dog on the sidewalk,
what they said was without sound,
what was understood not known.
The dog eventually moved on, the wall
waited for the next shadow.

Love it! Keep going, Pat ... you are almost down to three lines. ;-)

And today I saw a man punch his dog for getting out of his truck when he didn't want him too. Cruelty I don't understand.

I can just see it. Love the wall as the 'observer' in the poem.

Janice thanks!! Hope you're feeling better.

SB, 3 lines is too much for me to handle, I'll leave those to the experts. Thank you!!

Julia, I'd paint them with a sealer if they could. Thank you!!

Thank you Margie!!

No Joyce I don't either. One of the cockers we got 7 years ago, that died this past March, had been abused. Never got so close to a dog as I did her.

Polona, something about what falls between the cracks. Thank you!!

MB, thank you!!

Mikaelah, nothing strange and unimportant anyway. Thank you!!

Jon Cox thank you!!

Anon, thank you, those are enough!!
